Business Secrets Revealed » Finding Your Niche on eBay
Finding Your Niche on eBay
The most important thing you need to know before starting a new business on ebay is this:
It’s Easy to make Money on eBay!…
As long as you got the right tools and guidance;
I mean why reinvent the wheel, right…?
As a new ebay sellers, the first thing is probably finding a profitable niche.
To do so, you first need to:
Make a list of the niche markets that may interest you; ideally areas that you are familiar with, such as hobbies, something you buy, collect and use regularly, or just even something you have a gut feeling that you could successfully sell on eBay.
Start a worksheet listing five or ten items in each of those niche markets. Choosing a mixture of hard to find and best selling to get a good cross-section of each niche you selected.
Then you need to figure out how much you could realisticly purchase each item for. Factor in any additional costs such as shipping & handling costs or sales taxes into this purchase price.
Now log-in to your eBay account and begin searching completed auctions on eBay. These are the actual final selling prices that eBay bidders were willing to pay on eBay.
Study the results. Does one area - or even just one product - jump out at you as being a potential huge money maker after doing your research? If so, you may have found a profitable niche.
Now you’re ready to start testing:
Only purchase a few items to begin testing with, to make sure the item is the success you believe it to be.
Find a good ebay listing template and list your item.
It’s preferable to start with a low starting bid and with no reserve price as this will drive more traffic to your listings and get you more bids and hopefully a higher final bid.
After your auction ends, figure out how much profit you’ve made; You may have found your niche, congratulations!
If your test wasn’t as successful as you thought, start back at step one with new potential niche markets. It may take a few months before you actually find a profitable niche.
Instead of manually repeating the process until you find something profitable, you can use a free software that automates the whole process for you. So instead of testing new products for several months, you can find something and start making money in just a few days.
I recommend this free software offer to speed-up the process. They only charged me a few dollars to ship the free CD Course and believe me, you’ll be happy you claimed it.
